KABIR SUMAN and JOY GOSWAMI DUET

This audio has been taken from a programme held in 2008. Renowned poet Joy Goswami recited a poem. A song was sung by Kabir Suman. It was a good effort from these maestros to pay tribute to the people of Nandigram, Singur who were brutally killed by the Stalinist Government of West Bengal in 2007.

@monsumi Mamata is not alternative, but CPM has also ceased to be a communist party since many years. The new alternative would be created through people's democratic movement by some new left political formation in Bengal. But CPM can no longer do that any more. Land sharks and promoters cannot lead left democratic movements, in fact they would be the first to switch over to the otherside. The new alternative would emerge from tomorrows youth again.
