We do this with a real piece of rope pegged to the ground at the pitching plate and home plate, ensures the line is straight.

NOt only a good drill, but she is NOT doing that illegal hop that is being used/taught way too much. I coach and played/managed 15 years. This girl has good form and mechanics.
