does any body know if its possible to run a small turbo on a g35 just for fun and thats low hassle/ maintenance? i dont want some crazy ass big turbo because i dont want to get all hectic withthe engine and then upgrade clutch, ecu, fuel rails , etc, i just want a really small turbo to add a little pep to my car =) may be add like 5-10 lbs of boost. i just want to front with a boost meter in a gauge cluster and to hear a BOV every time i rev my motor X) thanks for any ones opinion !!

@tommy8897 Ok, so i get my brothers G35 coupe in about a year or so and i was wonder what i should do with it, it has around 100k miles, 2004, and its a stick. I was wondering should i try and rebuild it, or sell/trade it? Please reply

@ibro314 Have a leak down test performed. If the numbers still look good, I'd go ahead and boost it if that's what you intend on doing.

so wait you have stock everything? just threw in the turbonetics single?? or do you have utec or ecu of any kind to tune with deferent injectors or something?? btw how much does it cost?? if you say youve been more than 2 years with it, it sounds reliable to me lol!

@Dani01c It had the Turbonetics kit, with a Crawford plenum, and HKS exhaust. The injectors were RC 550ccs and I used a Utec for tuning. I ran this kit from 62k miles to 113k miles on the stock motor when I sold it.

what internals are you running and how much boost?

Stock internals. I was running 8psi when this was recorded almost 2 years ago. I'm still on stock internals, but running 10psi now.
