I wonder why this clip always makes me think of George W. Bush? First number is "Tough Luck" and the second number is "Georgia Railroad". Mike Reynolds took Second Place in the "Old Time Bass" category and the Road Side Fireworks were Fourth Place in "Old Time Band" at the 83rd Johnson County Old Time Fiddlers Convention on 22 August 2008. This convention started in 1925 at the old high school building at Church and College Streets in Mountain City. It has been held somewhere in Johnson County, Tennessee every year since. It has been said to be the longest continuously running "old time" fiddlers convention in the southern Appalachians. For the last 17 years it has been held at the "Old Mill Music Park" owned by the Warden family in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee. This park is about four miles from the corner of Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina on the Daniel Boone Trail (TN 91) from North Carolina on in to Damascus, Virginia.

  • What a great sound. These boys have their act together. Glad to see the bass player came in at #2 and the band at #4. If I was voting, they would both have been #1. redneck 3:17

  • Why is this dedicated to George Bush?

  • excellent 5*
