You think these clean vocals are bad? You should have heard it when I tried to sing this. Dude improved a lot, and I do mean a lot.

Besides, the drummer and vocalist HERE are in a different band now that I just joined, they're quite mainstream too but I don't mind, I just miss being in a band of some type.

Hey guys I was the guy singing in this vid. It was my first time screaming and as you can tell it didn't work out that well. I've learned how to do it properly since then if you want to hear some new stuff check out : The forsworn-Jackyl. That's me with my band. The guys in here weren't in it at the time i just jammed a song with them for shits.

Yeah, I can say as much shit about them as I want, just like you can say shit about any band or musician you want, we all have our opinions.

And I'm not the dude singing, I don't know if that was just a poor choice of words or not, but I'm the Guitarist. But most of your observations are correct.

while it is true that this song is a very commercial sounding track, im quite proud of it, the riffs are very simple but very effective, and the vocal melodies are really distinctive, unfortunately it doesnt shine through much with this dude singing here. only thing that could be improved a lot are the drumlines.

this was recorded about 3 minutes after die in the fire was, and the song was written about a month before die in the fire had been crapped out. trust me when i say i can write much better than die in the fire and always could, that song was garbage and the only reason it is up is to AT LEAST destroy the "you have no life!!!" argument. as soon as my newer band can get something recorded it will completely replace it, but it may be a while.
