Is i a good idea to put O Gauge trains outside?

I make sure its dry before i do it so there shouldnt be a problem. i know you can keep the track outside but it needs coating first.

Oh sweet! I just got a train set and I bet I could do the same! But my Dad says he doesn't like the smell in the smoke. It's the Pennsylvania Flyer. And it is sweet!
