@iHeartKyu "The easier cable" ... I assume you mean the one on the left of the swatch, the one done second? "How many knits before crossing/cabling them" ... I assume you mean how many rows between crossing/cabling? If that is what your question means, the answer is, that cable is crossed every 4th row. There are 3 plain rows between cabling/crossing rows. If I have not understood your question, sorry! And please clarifiy so I can try again to answer it.

For the easier cable, how many knits do you do before you cross/cable them?

Yeah, I'm just starting knitting leg warmers and I wanted to make a cable on them :)

@lilith0886 Great idea! Just enough patterning to keep you interested while you knit the leg warmers. Then they will look wonderful when finished, too.

Hi love your videos. I have a pattern that doesn't tell me what to do on the back side but it is stockinette between the cable rows so I assume that I just purl back? Thanks for your help.

@yrnlovr Oh, this is a challenge without other clues, like a photo or chart! But I would assume what you are assuming. That is, if there are no other directions for the wrong side, knit the knits and purl the purls. Have you tried Ravelry to see if any other knitters have posted comments on how they have interpreted the pattern? Good luck! Cables are wonderful, so I hope you make this pattern work for you.
