Also infinite undiscovery and star ovean both had HORRIBLE, cheesy dialogue and characters. IU was very bleh all around for me and had very obvious twists but at least tried to have a uniwue story. I was a huge fan of star ocean but it has been downhill since 3 and the latest one hit me in the childhood. All the dialogue, story and characters were too cliche to handle (If I hear something about a cold robot heart one more time I wil murder something). Combat was alright but it couldn't save it.

Final fantasy 13 took all the fun out of final fantasy imo. They removed the free roam in all but one part of the game and they put caps n characters between bosses so that there was no grinding and you had to play specific characters, and all of this added up to you having to play exaclty as they designed. I watched a guy play who had figured out that if he hit a couple of buttons for every battle in the entire game he would win (something like x, down, down, x, repeat, not sure). Too linear.

@funfunsam1 Last Remnant is a great game. Don't believe the negativity. Sure, it takes some time to get used to it, but once you do, there's no looking back. As for XIII-2, I liked it alot. Just wish I hadn't played it so much, cause now I've done about all there is to do. :(

@JordaNoceros yes lost odyssey is a good game, but it didn't do much for me imo, not saying at all that is a bad game, its a modern take on what gamers loved about old school JRPGs, but that isn't my issue with it, my issue with it is all the characters abilities/spells etc can be pretty much the same which kills any uniqueness each of the characters' own abilities would have

@UdouAkira1028 I hope you are right because they were at one time the best of the best. But you gotta admit that they have made alot of poor decisions in the last few years, FF13 being a huge disappointment and FF14 having so many flaws that right now it is unplayable and also allowing Cavia to be dissolved. If FF13-2 is a better game, that is great news. I do not want them to fail but in my opinion FF13 was a step back in the series.
