The Historic Nitro Funny Cars take the track for a step back in time. In the pre-race ceremonies John Force told the crowd he was amazed to see all these famous cars back in one spot. We start with a pairing of Brian Stewart driving Tom Hoover's Showtime Corvette against Lee Jennings, Jr. in the Dick Harrell Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car.

Stewart jumped the light giving Jennings the win.

Next up, Doc Halladay in Telstar against Mike Savage driving the famous Candies & Hughes Funny Car.
