I like this one.
Simple construction and assembly.
Easy on fuel, light in weight.
10+ minute high setting burn time.
40+ minute bake/simmer setting burn time.

  • Natives is restless!! Boil test!!!!

  • Sorry, man. I will do it up within a day or 2. My bad on it, life caught me off guard and I have had some things to deal with over the past week that required my attentions. On my word, I will have her up by sunday. Peace.

  • What the dimension of the burner hole?

(125")??? Does it affect burn time, efficiency ect??? This could be the best design in trade off of wt vs function thus far!!! You have inspired me!!! LOL

  • Haven't done the boil test yet, but I will very soon. The top exhaust hole is 1 inch across, roughly 21mm. If the hole is much bigger, the fuel burns off too fast, much smaller and the flame doesn't get hot enough. I am happy to have inspired someone, and I hope it may spark an interest in you with all DIY outdoor gear! Peace.

  • I love this design! Great imagination.

Have you tested the boil times (rolling boil) with a wind screen? Referring to the mini feather 4. Thanks.

  • I haven't done a rolling boil test with a windscreen as of yet, but I can do that within the week. I know a few people I have given one of these to are enjoying them. Peace.

  • nice song i have th same cd

  • The Weather Pack is the female one, part number 85308. Peace.

  • Control wire is braided stainless, ring on end is an electrical connector. Air intake control band is made from can-side sheet aluminum. They screw, in this prototyp, goes through a small piece of an aluminum dowel, drilled at 90 degrees, tapped for 6/32 threads. I now use non-threaded aluminum door spacers, the 1/4 inchers. The wire attaches to the screw via a 16-14 GM Weather Pack connector, from Pep Boys. I add a dab of JB Weld to it to secure. I hope that helps! Peace.

  • I hope you like the 2 I sent you! Peace.
