I don't think IQ is everything but almost everyone with above 130 is usually smart enough to pass an SAT, anyone above 150 is usually smart enough to graduate from any college and anyone above 160 is smart enough to be considered an intellectual without reading a thesaurus.

That is quite shocking. He said 'prostate' TWICE. It is NOT an "honest mistake," as claimed below. It's an IGNORANT mistake. I read Cornell West's "The American Evasion of Philosophy" and thought it fantastic. I thought he was extremely bright. It was a very well-articulated, well-researched book. I had never heard Cornell West speak before, and now that I have I am completely shocked. He sounds like an ignorant, bullshitting jive turkey and not an erudite scholar. I'm astonished.
