"I Hate the Blues" from Dan Grigor's Labor Day JAM at the CAM 2009

The last JAM of the weekend, a star-studded cast of bluesmen and I fake it through my new song.

I don't really hate the blues. This was a great weekend! I rarely play electric any more and jammin' with Tim and Tony was really fun. Don't miss a chance to see Tim Conaway and the Hipshakers play. When they are all together it is magic. We only had one hipshaker, Tony, on the harp.
Can you imagine the fun with more?

Rusty is off to college soon, we won't get to play much for awhile. You should hear him play the guitar; it's a treat. Mark does a pretty good job of hiding, but don't miss the West Coast Blues Cartel in concert. He's their rock-steady foundation.

What fun I had! New friends, great music, great summer at the lake.

HAHA! what fun, I was gonna spring it on YOU, but we were never up there together playing guitars. I had fun on the piano though, I never get to do that.

Tim kicked it up a notch and with Tony there too it was a great sound. We need to do that again soon.

Rusty rocked all night then sat in on bass too! We're gonna miss him when he goes to school. You didn't do too bad yourself. Playing or shooting steady cam and stills, you kept busy all night.

Looks like Rusty Bone was about to fall asleep on the Bass! I think he played about 4 hours with all the different bands he jammed with....I couldn't believe my ears when you broke into "I hate the Blues" with Tim Conaway on guitar. Blasphemy!!! I know Tim got a kick out of your lyrics! Good times...
