Assassin Bugs are very beneficial to a garden! They are in the Hemiptera order, which means they are a true bug. Their genus and species is the Arilus cristatus and they live in many habitats all around the world. I found these in my yard.. Yikes they look scary! Use caution if you handle them, as they can inflict a very painful bite.. and now way!.. i didnt get bit - Thank goodness!
