An update video showing the recent changes to the 70cm duplexer at the VK5REX D-Star repeater.
The addition of a "mobile" notch duplexer to the existing cavity filters has made an incredible difference to the performance of the repeater.
I have been running the D-Star repeater on two vertically separated antennas for quite some time after not being able to resolve severe desense issues.
I can now run on a single antenna and it's performing better than it was on two antennas. I am using the UHF folded dipole at the top of the tower.
Only missing the type of the notch filter? How you are tuning? The RX cavity are also mistake ?? What type are the RX cavity?? You are having really very nice repeater side !!!
Congrats to you and to the hamradio fans. 73 de Z31MA /mitkokikerekov@gmail.com
