Neil discarded his Ayn Rand / objectivist views a long time ago (late 70s / early 80s IIRC), so "running your congressional campaign on them" seems rather ignorant if you're using Neil as some sort of inspiration or source of validation of objectivism.
Neil said at the time that he still identified with the individualism of Rand's character Howard Roarke, but he had since rejected the rest of her philosophy. (Rand was female for those unfamiliar with her.)

Alex is so down to earth and the total opposite of a rock star. I'd love to just chill and drink with him.

If you guys have ever studied Neil's lyrics, you know where his influences in objectivism come from. I'm no disciple of anyone, but I'm running a congressional campaign that will be based on those same philosophies. I'd be much obliged if you'd all critique my video's for my campaign.
PS I also put a few of my old guitar solo's in there for you.
