its going to be 3 movies! I read about that. One movie, the first one, then the second which is the continue of the Hobbit, meaning that the Hobbit will be filmed in 2 movies and then... the third is going to be a movie which will work as a link between the Hobbit and the masterpiece, Lord of the Rings.
