OMG! I have recently been getting back into pre 70's music. I am only 15 so i have only recently come across such great artists like the turtles, the shadows, the kinks etc. The thing is I have heard all of their music on the radio, but i have never been able to trace it. Now this I know and Love as it is Brian Matthews Intro and Exit Jingle. BBC Radio 2 Saturday 8:00 - 10:00. Ah sounds of the sixties! Great show and a great era of music and i am so glad i have been able to track down this truly
I met Bruce Welch once and I can honestly say he is one of the nicest men I have ever come across. He was a real gentleman and an absolute delight to speak to as well as being a great musician, of course -Donna
It's a brilliant tune, and a brilliant performance. Both of the Shadows' drummers were class acts, and of course Brian Bennett still is (RIP Tony Meehan). Mostly, I prefer the beat music that succeeded this material, although I do love this one. However, I can say, as a drummer myself, that a drummer's job was usually a lot easier in the beat era. To play with the Shadows and the like required a lot more speed and skill.
Do you need to use alternate picking to play this? My picking hand is struggling to keep up.

@ferark I love this song. I remember playing this from vinyl from one of Mum/Dads old collection. And I wasn't born until '89! :)
