@SuperSnk1 you r askin me to compare countries around our age with T&T? lol..to do such will b spining top in mud. every caribbean island received and inhabited different tribes of ppl. d development of those humans will b different to us, y? because of their environmental situations, social situations, their resources, etc, but objectively their purpose as a nation! we know our problems ,only "we" cud fix it. but we must recognize wat n wher these problems r first. THEREFORE WE NEED 2 THINK!
-
@SuperSnk1 yes i know we r very young dats y im pleading to all to START TO THINK MORE! stop waitin on government 2 do things 4 us wat we can do 4 ourselves! our progress 2wards being an excellent nation has slowed down over d pass few decades. bcause of complacent management in all aspects of dis society. The high value of family life has been replace with d drive to make money! dis compromises everything dat deals with d proper development of a "YOUND MIND!"

@amenrametsu. Sir, T+T is a very young nation but we are moving on. In the past we had to go abroad to study nearly everything now it's no longer so. We have many faculties here which are attended by many from outside the WI. We do have one for music as yet but it may be soon I hope. Those countries that you compare us with have been Nations for Hundreds of years. Compare us with those our age and lets see what's your views. In my field I was able to Graduate right here and many did likewise.

@SuperSnk1 u speak of an individual who seek development all over dis country n didnt find wat he was looking 4 then resorted 2 go abroad. AGAIN U ALL R NOT READING PROPERLY. IF TRINIDAD HAD D PROPER INSTITUTION/S 4 PANMEN/MUSICIANS WE WOULDNT RESORT IN LEAVING DIS PLACE TO STUDY i studied in d USA N IM BACK HOME TEACHING in my country. if u talk 2 LIAM he'll tell u d same thing. TRINIDAD IS A HUNDRED YEARS BEHIND CONSCIOUS SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT. look around u n THINK BOUT WATS GOING ON.. THINK!!!
-
@amenrametsu . Previously you agreed that we are better off than many now you question that. You speak of Panmen going no where well let me inform you of just one simple boy from a poor family in south who is now a Doctor of Music and a Professor at a University in the USA and an Internationally acclaimed musician who played in the Hillside Steel Orchestra . His name is Professor Liam Teague and he is one of the many Trini Top achievers and still very young also. So old talk take a walk.

@amenrametsu . If you grew up with those "Relative Terms " being hurled at you then the Hard luck surely do not apply to me. You speak of " Perfection". Are you perfect? Always remember that wanting to improve in what ever field it may be is a Personal desire. Opportunities for improving ones lot and especially in Education are readily available in T+T. So many fields of Knowledge are there waiting for those Interested.Remember that prosperity is a Generation thing id doesn't happen over night.
