Did not chart. Recorded for RCA released September 1958 B side "Easy Does It"(A solo by JP, which I have also posted). In addition to this song Jaye P. recorded with her brothers the June 1958 single "I Know, I Know, I Know"/"I Love You So Much It Hurts".

  • Superb!!*****all your postings are worthy of the highest praise.

Thank you so much for sharing. Most appreciated.

  • Fairly recently a gentlemen had actual video of Jaye P. singing this song with her brothers on some variety show. Unfortunately due to copyright laws that clip was taken down. I had the original 45 rpm in mint condition so decided to post it! Glad you enjoyed!

  • Thanks for the post. As I have been going over the posts of Jaye P., it is surprises me the variety of style she could do well. I can see as I watched as a kid why Merv Griffin use to have her on all the time.

  • @icabod31 Appears as if I was a tad confused!! Comes with the territory at 78 years of age! OK ...so YOU'RE Mike Baiano! Was Chuck Kelly lying to me when he said he was married to Mary Margaret (Jaye P.)? I'm easy, actually, and I believed Chuck. So now, inquiring minds want to know your side. I'll give Chuck a call after I receive your response. Doesn't matter really, Chuck's a great guy and I'm sure you are, too. You in the biz? majskyking at g mail dot com Give me a shout on email.

  • @icabod31 also @kingslydaddy .....I assume Chuck was married to Jaye P. AFTER kingslydaddy - at least would hope so. At the time I met Chuck, he was married to Bev Kelly ....a very good jazz singer. They're now divorced ....stuff happens. Bev went on to become a psychologist and Chuck became a mystery novel writer with a couple of successful books. I am still in contact with Chuck and Bev, but I am no longer in contact with Jaye P. She's pretty much a recluse, I hear.

  • @icabod31 wanted this comment to go to @kingslydaddy, but perhaps you, icabod31, may be able to get it to him.

Jaye P. sang at my Senior Prom in 1952 at the Mission Beach Ballroom in San Diego. She was the vocalist with the Frank De Vol Orchestra.

In 1962, I met a gent by name of Chuck Kelly who sang with Paula Kelly and the Modernaires (no relation to Paula, simply name coincidence). Chuck told me that he was married to Jaye P. - didn't tell me what years, however. Will continue new post.

  • @icabod31

  • stunningly beautiful family-voiced harmony!

  • Wow...listen to the pure melody and harmony ...rarely hear this wonderful blend anymore.

  • @icabod31 Wow! I'm a huge fan of Jaye P's... her voice is one of my all time favorites. Have all her albums and singles.. just love her! Is there an address I can write to her at? I'd love to get an autograph or just have an opportunity to tell her how much her music means to me. Thanks - Matt
