The name Palestine came from the Romans who occupied Israel 2000 years ago. There is no connection between that land and Islam. Even the Quran makes no mention of it. There is historical and archaeological evidence of the 1st and 2nd Jewish Temples in Jerusalem. Not to mention hundreds of synagogues scattered throughout the land of Israel. What about innocent Israelis killed by suicide bombers? Don't they count? Israel's not an appartied state as every ethnic group are found as israeli citizens.
