Ahh brings back memories when I was 13 or so and doing this stuff.

@TheseNiggasTrippin And any Muay Thai/kickboxing > ATA, if you want to go more into practicality.
-
@TheseNiggasTrippin dude you can't compare styles........
just look at Sin Min Cheol,he is practicing WTF and in interstyle matches he beat up a lot of dudes.
it depends on those who fight, how skillfull they are,you can be very good at ATA,WTF or ITF but you can still get your ass kicked by a boxer, karatist etc.
-
ATA > WTF, for the simple fact that its more practical sparring. WTF doesnt even use hands.

Very nice!

This may be a few years too late, but I'd like to know what school he learned from. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say either California or Nevada? I used to do ATA and I must say, Mr. So is quite a good sparrer, very active and aggressive. I can't quite see what rank their belts say, but I'd guess they're somewhere around 2nd Degree Black Belts.
Very nice display, I always enjoy finding these kinds of videos.

@bonethug68 Just remember this is ata tournament sparring, it s a SPORT. You go for certain hits such as a kick to the head, which gives you two points. 5 points win a match, NOT a knockout, tapout, ect. Therefore, If you put one of your MA's fighters in a point sparring match with this guy, they would most likely lose, because that is what we DO. Only a fool disses martial arts. Remember that ATA is the biggest martial art in the world, and this is POINT sparring, we do other sparring as well.
