Hell yeah! She's absolutely right! I personally use a little screwdriver to pop out the rollers. I then dump the hair, put it back together, and we're ready to clean some more black cat hair! An awesome product! But, don't be fooled by the label!

My Pledge Fabric Sweeper broke the first time I used it (with the first 'sweep' actually!), so I'm impressed that yours is still going. I was excited to see it on the market because I was one of the product testers before it was available to the public. I loved it then - it was great for picking up dust, lint and human hair (I don't have any pets, just very sheddy hair of my own!) But the product they eventually released is much flimsier plastic than what I first used. More disposable.

I have an excellent way to empty out this sweeper when filled up too. I was using it to clean and vacuuming at the same time and I was able to stick the vacuum hose in between the two rollers and suck the hair out, duh?!?! So please don't spend the money or waste the plastic when this product is easy to use again and again.

Thanks alot I didn't feel like spending money for a brand new one.
Thank you! I love you for doing this simple tutorial online! Just FYI, I got here via a link posted on a product page for this item on amazon.com, so others have seen your video, thought it was super-useful, and shared it big-time. Again, can't thank you enough! With 4 cats, this thing lasted one use and has been sitting on the shelf until today, when I thought about using a cat hair brush to clean the outside of the rollers. Your way is SO much better!

Does this work better than using packing tape?
That's what I usually use.

@pinoi78 oh yeah...at least in my opinion!

I just used the crevice tool from my bag-less vacuum to suck the hairball out. It works in a blink of an eye.
