there are front diff locks but you have to do it manually i saw that myself somthing like on suzuki samuray

thats GAZ i am not sure about precise number of the model produced since 50's used by russian army and by police,and as ambulance .

has 2l petroleum engine ,about 100BHP

and front lockink diffs.basically it just a piece of metall.this guys are working for optic cable company in siberia ...and thats not for fun....

That should have the same engine as "Volga".Very good machine.A van and also a fine offroad machine all in one.

Its a UAZ 2206 - you can buy them today in 2011 :-) awesome van

Впервые на Ютюбе вижу чтобы так мастерски выезжали из грязи. В основном только и вижу что только "тянут кота за яйца" и газу дать боятся, или дают только когда машина уже начинает садиться. Вобщем нервов не хватает на таких ездюков смотреть.

Same type of van that was used in Long Way Round; reminds me of the old man's first school bus, a Morris J2....many years ago now, & it was for ever breaking down, had character but that was about all LOL.

was there in siberia in late fall thats excatly how it is over there until winter sets in then it gets quite good everything is frozen hard. quite a place!
