its not just oil y filter changes but u need to flush the brake system y change the tranny fluid.

@lrossi888 What are you trying to prove? It is more than obvious that foreign cars are much more reliable than its north american counterparts.

@UselessBrokenDog It's also worth noting that several "foreign" car makers get car parts and build cars here in the US, even exporting OUT of the US, including Honda and Toyota.

I own a 08 civic lx. I'm 20 yrs. old and love to practice automotive operations with this car. Not that i want to be a mechanic, but i like to mess with performance. I love this car! Never have had any problems at all. Very reliable car. Great for "first car".
