This video was shot on 8/28/2010 and shows the GRS and a small moon transiting the planet. The beginning was a little blurry due to unstable seeing conditions but it clears up pretty quick.

  • wow that's a great video. Very nice ! What telescope did you use for that ? and also when viewing with the naked eye is the direct instant image better or worse than wat the video shows ?

  • @NoAirPlayguitar the telescope is a Takahashi 130 TOA. The view through the scope is actually better but it depends on the seeing conditions. Conditions typically start out rough and blurry as the telescope comes up to ambient temperature. The seeing conditions also improve as the sky gets darker late into the night.
