  • Guys guys guys.......come on this is elementary. There is only one reason one would sink while the other floated, density vs displacement. Two objects of the same displacement but different densities will float differently. The thing about those cans are they are not rigid and expand or contract with temperature and internal pressure. Shake one can of warm or hot soda up and drop it in next to one that has been chilled....or take one frozen can of soda vs one liquid can....you see now?
