Passive Aggressiveness and Recycled Opinions.

It irritates me most of all to see these traits in someone so young... All that misguided energy and brainpower and youth.

Those who spew religion on others seldom have faith in what they are saying. In the case of the 19 year old she is telling you how to behave to fight her biological urges. Religion was originally created to tie us back down to earth (rilegare from Latin) . It is great for us to organize our own lives but lethal when used to judge and try to control others. The Crusades, Inquisition, witch hunts, and GWB saying god told him to wage war on Iraq being just a few examples.

@trimarano I totally agree with you. Strength in silence. I only appreciate public non-formal-preaching such at this when it is used to help someone in a particular moment of their life. When faith (notice I didn't use the word religion) is used as a guideline or as an example to give someone a larger perspective.

@katConfidential Well, I'd never actually thought about it consciously, but somewhere in the back of my mind I suppose my natural inclination would have been to assume you were atheist simply because you're intelligent. But considering it now, I can totally see how religious belief could fit with the more... "creative" way that you process the world. Really hard to put into words!

A vid on the specifics of your beliefs/reasoning and how they were formed would be faaascinating, if ever inclined.

@SpottedAssedApe Ha!! I was TOTALLY thinking "diaper" in my head a that point!! Just thought it would have been weird and disjointed for those who are tuning in for the first time... "Youth is wasted on the young" is the phrase, I believe. And I agree. Even though I still fall under the 'young' category.
