Ainsley wearing a PMV. She is doing well until she hits herself in the face with the tube after which she has trouble. Note the sound (or lack of) when she cries. We think her vocal cords slam together when she cries really hard, and then she isn't able to exhale very well. Sometimes we even have to remove the speaking valve. For more information about Ainsley or her medical conditions please see her blog at: http://ainsleyrae.blogspot.com/

  • My daughter Angelique is at CHKD in Norfolk, Va. She currently has a PMV on. I hope to one day hear her as clearly as your sweetheart. Ainsley is very beautiful and I pray she and you will continue to post videos, for you two are truly inspiring.

  • why does she need the pmv. she does seem to get enough air with it.
