Why doesn't metal sound like this anymore? God it sucks so bad now it's really depressing to me. Everyone is trying to sound like Killswitch Engage apparently...
Dave and the boys really knew how to write a song. And so did Metallica back in the day. I guess they all ran out of ideas or something, cuz it all sucks really bad now. /sadface

The only people trying to sound like Killswitch Engage are Killswitch Engage and every other dumb ass metalcore band... As I Lay Dying, All That Remains, etc. Megadeth still has it in them.

the only Rap core I listen to is Rage Against The Machine and thats it. No other one cause Rage is Rage and Megadeth is just awesome and better than Rage.

@BlySS93 Definitely true. I can't see Megadeth making an awesome come back though, I'm sure we have seen the best Mustaine has to offer already. Saying that I'm always looking out for a replacement band - a technical metal band thats not over the top on the heaviness of the drums.

DANG. Almost all of Megadeth's songs are in standard tuning and the sound is waaay heavier than crappy "metalcore" bands out there...
