2008 November border shooting in Nagorno Karabakh

During the night of Nov. 15, 2008 Azerbaijanis tried to penetrate Armenian positions. As a result one Azerbaijani attacker — Orkhan Shamilov — was killed. Armenian soldiers who had successfully repelled the attack were later awarded with medals.
