  • what's with the obnoxious moustache? some hipsterish irony maybe?

  • @IceCreamAllTheTime

This was 1987, hipster irony wasn't invented yet.

  • @girlie347: Husker Du got better with each record, the final lp "Warehouse Songs & Stories" was undoubtedly their most consistent lp. "Zen Arcade", "Flip Your Wig", " New Day Rising" were great lps, but their first records "Land Speed Record" etc any true Husker Du fan will tell you, were not their best. So I'm at odds understanding your statement .And who gives a shit what the shape of his guitar is?..Do you know ANYTHING about this band? Do you know why you posted such a misinformed comment?

  • i don't see what all the complaints about Warehouse are about. Its perfect. Its full on and the drums sound right on the button. A remix will do nothing for it. I like the sound off all of the albums wouldn't change 'em for the world. Our bunch of mates all sank into Zen Arcade at the time and then couldn't believe how quickly the LPs kept coming. No reunion ever. Good. They did it. Its done and dusted. And it remains as potent as music gets. Maaaaaan

  • Borat's dad rocked !

  • My favorite Husker Du album is The Living End. Live show put on for the fan club and recorded for all of us to enjoy. The live track of Powerline alone makes that an album we all should own. Ice cold Ice kicks ass on it too. I love Husker Du.

  • One word describe the discography of this band: Perfection.

  • out of all the 80's/90's underground love H-DU the most-but I reckon they were just sabotaged by shite recording- flip yr wig n new day rising need some serious remastering and audio punch-- they fucking rock but they don't have the raunch of zen arcade... and warehouse just sounds so clinically sterilley 80's- but still kiks- imagine these guys with a fucking now analog studio and on to it producer- unbeatable band-fucking amazing songs and live kudos to spare- so underated ....;(

  • @deathfromabove77 I'm also going to agree to disagree. I think FLIP YOUR WIG is their most 'consistent' album (and one of the best punk records of the 20th century). I challenge any band, anywhere - ever, to have a program that even approaches the steady climax of FYW's SIDE A: 1.Flip your Wig, 2. Every Everything, 3. Makes no Sense at All, 4. Hate Paper Doll, 5. Green Eyes, 6. Divide and Conquer, and 7. GAMES.. Truly the best half-album on God's Green Earth, in my humble oppinion..

  • Warehouse is an incredible good record. Songs like "Turn it around", "Ice Cold Ice" or "You can live at home" are just amazing. There is no such things as a creative decline in the records of Hüsker Dü. They kind of seemed to develop with each record.

  • @fuckyouboob

Pinkpop is held in Holland. It still excists, but all the bands that play there awfull.

  • he forgot the first verse.....oh well - great tune anyway~!
