Just yesterday, May 30, we were on the campus of Keaukaha Elementary School, where weʻre working on a segment exploring this special Big Island gem of a town - the hometown of a long list of Hawaiian notables like Uncle George Naʻope, Auntie Edith Kanakaole and family, Ledward & Nedward Kaʻapana, and a whole lot more. It also just happened to be the day that students from the 3rd to 5th grade were offering an ukulele concert -- how maikaʻi kena!
Enjoy this short clip, and weʻll give you more in the next episode.
