  • Can you do Vocal Comping In Ableton Live?

  • @KozmotheKid hi, thanks for your question. Yes, we'll see what we can find on the subject and post a few tutorials. Vocal comping in essence is selecting the best parts of different takes to make one complete take. This can be done simply by cutting the performance. The tips in this tutorial can help you with that part. You can place the different takes on individual tracks this way you can solo tracks and focus on each take as you go.

  • Your logo is rather annoying.

And I think you should have rehearsed what you were going to say.

A pity as the tip was valid.

  • @glyngoll Hi, thanks for the feedback. We've taken measures since this video to ensure full visibility. Let us know if we can help clear anything up. -Mateo, WinkSound

  • Hi Mass,

Thanks so much for your comments and feedback.

Since this Ableton Video we have updated the look and feel of the videos to avoid the logo being in the way.

Being a new channel, we are continuously learning and tweaking our videos to best suit our viewers needs.

I invite you to take a look at our more recent videos where the logo is placed out of the way.

Please excuse any inconvenience this may have caused and please feel free to contact me with any further comments or suggestions.

  • @respirations2468 that's what she said

  • I'm not retarded or anal retentive or a competitor so I thought this was fine....

  • you're not a very good teacher man....you mumble things and sort of talking to yourself doing things as if i am suppose to guess what you just did...

  • i liked it, short and to the point.

  • You know you can take multiple takes and edit out the bad ones. This looks like everything was done in a single take, and you really don't sound like you know what you're talking about. You mumble, you use words like 'that thing' and the logo gets in the way of the video.

  • 'reverse it'

    And how did you reverse??
