  • Louie Making some Nice cash i bet from that machine Nice Louie

  • @xxzipitxx Bet he is. We've had that machine in our gym for some time now and honestly it's overated. Using it unweighted to get function back into the s.i joint is pretty much all we do now...this will not solve all back problems like it says, for that you need to go through physiopherapy and get all the back and core muscles strong again so the spine is supported and using sports massage therapy to keep the tissue healthy. Same old.

  • @ravsandhu1

That's the point of this machine though, to strengthen the posterior chain. Glutes, hamstrings, lower back. There's other exercises that do the same thing; few as effective or fun as reverse hypers though. You're either going to have to do these, glute-ham raises, etc., something to strengthen these muscles...why rag on Louie for selling something that effectively does this?

  • @11111011 We used it for a year, it was poor, and we sold it. Apologies for the existential crisis, but I'd rather people knew that it's not all it's cracked up to be before making the financal investment. Thanks.

  • or you can listen to Louie who has coached people to more world records than anyone in history. This machine holds my athletes together and allows them to move more weight all the time. It is a stapple at west side and at my gym. If anyone has one of these and is not getting anything out of it please contact me. I have heard of pro foot ball players using no weight where we have woman using 400 lbs on these.

  • As far as the people who say it doesnt work it is a shame you dont kow how to use it. Whenever i meet someone who says they have used one but never got anything out of it, i take them over and watch there form and they never get it right . You must do a movement properly to get something out of it. your lack of knowledge is not the manufacture's fault. Before i listend to someone bashing a hyper on here take a min to think about it. You can listen to a no body.

  • I love how ignorant people act like Louie sells theses as a gimmick to make money. He is one of the most generous people i have ever met. His lifters lift for free and get free coaching. As a sponsor for many meets he has donated more money than any one else ever has. He has done more for powerlifting and strenght sports than anyone else has in modern history. As far as does this machine work. I have four versions of it in my gym.

  • im sure it works. it just looks cumbersome to use. I've never even seen one in person but like i said it just looks like it'll take some getting used to.

  • 7:02 "Hold on guys got to check these glutes out"

  • You can tell when he was asked what his best squat was...and he said 1008 that he was very proud..even though he tried to be humble. Don't worry man..I'd be damn proud too if I could lift over a thousand pounds lol.

  • @rawnie. Reverse hyper (eccentric portion of this exercise) is releasing the compression on the discs, If you hyper extend so that your feet come up higher than the level of the table you will be putting unnecessary compression on the discs in the lumbar section of your back.

  • can you explain why louie is saying hyper extension is bad?
