@minor7b5b9 Perlman and Vengerov in the same level with stern but these are realy high levels of playing there are realy small diferences they all play extremly well and then it is how each of them see the piece how he understands music so i think the corect expresion is that you like sterns aproaching to this piece better !! he is really very musical!!
@minor7b5b9 Stern did have a magical touch and I love his playing..but take a listen to his mentor, Shlomo Mintz play this piece..he definitely got something from his close association with Mr. Stern..Mintz is something else. I also love Stern's Tzigane and Rondo and Caprissioso, his Geminiani
