yeah, the American office and BBC office are pretty different, and I have to tell you I watched the british office first and I didn't like it, though the american one makes me chuckle...weird. I think that you will see more and more of what hellointernet said though. I think of torchwood, dr. who, robin hood and they are probably watched by more americans than british (just because of population density), it's increasingly becoming a global marketplace

I like a lot of CW stuff. I'm just glad that my shows portray people in their 20's now instead of high schoolers. I like One Tree Hill, Smallville & Supernatural. I can't stand Reaper.
I also like crime drama shows. I'm a sucker for solving mysteries.

I love both version of the Office. And while having the BBC versions air here would be alright, and they do air here on BBC America, it's just too differnt from American Television. You might get 10 episodes of show then it's off for 2 or 3 years then you get 10 more. It's just easier and more profitable to remake them. I don't mind them doing it as long as they do them well. I've seen Life on Mars and loved it but since its rarely on I can never catch it.

BBC 'Life On Mars' is great. Super serious old school cop stuff with mysterious sci-fi-ish subplot. What is it with American remakes of great British shows? Seriously, why don't U.S. broadcasters just buy the rights to broadcast a show that's already made, rather than making it over again? I don't get it. I tried watching the U.S. Office, but I couldn't do it. I know Carrell is coo, be he's no Ricky Gervais. It was wierd.
