First of all thank you! New to movie maker watched all 10 in succession in a row... Thanks for people like you who take the time to do this. Been working with NERO, hate it! Question: Can I use parts of different soundtracks in one movie? For example music "A" runs 30 seconds, music "B" runs 60 seconds, Music "C " runs 20 seconds?

Can you cut the soundtrack in movie maker as you can with video, if not do you have recommended free software?

@scarletohara2008 You can edit soundtracks inside WLMM. Just add the soundtracks. Then double click on the soundtrack that you want. Then you will see Music Tools Edit tab on the Ribbon. You can change the Trim start and end values for the soundtrack. Basically, what I do is that I drag the caret to where I would like to start the music, then I click split. Then I Split again where i want it to end. Then I delete the other parts. very easy to do.

This was pretty helpful for me.. But i still am not quiet suitable for it just yet. I was wondering if you or someone else could be able to show me a tutorial of how to replace a video with just sound, and change it up into another video of a slideshow of photos and place the sound in. Lol im not much very into movie makings so yea.. Hah.. well please inbox me or something.. If you can help i would appareciate it a lot.
