@3xtob We thus agree on a mandatory complete overhaul about the sources,  role and "interpretation" of the Quran. Some muslims are involved in this process but they are a tiny minority. The role of atheists is to promote a deep-rooted debate within and outside Islam . Neither a war nor a political-correctness.

I agree to your conclusion, but I believe there are muslims who on a personal basis have revised the imperialistic war-message aspect of islam - who are intelligent enough to see that these war-verses from the dark ages if implemented into todays society won't do the muslim world (or humanity as a whole) any good, but lead to misery and sorrow. Islam is a dangerous ideology and should be fought, but we should concentrate on the extreme jihad, and not 'throw the child out with the bath water'.
