hmm i dunno from the way hes singing it it seems that maybe the original was a bit too high for him but going a whole octave down would be too low. so maybe he put the guitar up 3 semitones and is going an octave down from there? I have no clue to be honest my theory's awful haha. Great cover though mate :]
