Launch of the 3rd MIT Arab Business Plan Competition

Benefits of the Competition:

For the third consecutive year, the MIT Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region has launched in Beirut its MIT Arab Business Plan Competition for 2010. The competition is designed to encourage entrepreneurs across the Arab region to start their own companies

A press conference was held on this occasion at Beiruts Vendome Intercontinental in the presence of the chair of the Board and the forums co-founder, Mrs. Hala Fadel. The director of the forum, Mrs. Mouna Moussi, predicted that the number of candidacies to be filed is expected to witness a 20% increase compared to the previous years overall 1,650 candidacies from 17 states.

أطلقت اليوم الأربعاء في بيروت مسابقة منتدى MIT Enterprise لسنة 2010 لأفضل خطة عمل عربية، وتهدف، للعام الثالث على التوالي، إلى تشجيع رواد الأعمال الشباب من الدول العربية على تأسيس مشاريعهم الخاصة.

وتوقعت مديرة المنتدى للمنطقة العربية منى موسي في مؤتمر صحافي عقد في فندق "فاندوم انتركونتيننتال" في بيروت، بحضور رئيسة مجلس ادارة منتدى MIT Enterprise للمنطقة العربية واحدة من مؤسسيه، السيدة هلا فاضل، و اعضاء المجلس الاداري، أن يرتفع هذه السنة عدد الترشيحات المقدمة للمشاركة في المسابقة بنسبة 20% عن العام الماضي، علماً أن نحو 1650 طلب ترشيح من 17 دولة قدمت في مسابقة العام الفائت.
