I used my Boss RC-20 loop station through the auxiliary send/receive of my soundboard so that all my channels can be selectively routed to it. This song was really tough to figure out the cowbell pattern to get started.

This is my first high definition video with my new Canon HF100. I was happy to see that Premiere is happy with the MTS files that it created. I did not know about that before.

It was really warm in the studio/computer room that night. I had tried recording this during the day, but after about 27 takes, gave it a rest. When I returned that night, I gave it another go. This was take 12ish. A couple little mistakes, and it's way low for my singing range, but I didn't care... and still dont. Hope you like it!

  • Good job, Freddy. Don't listen to the little monkeys dissing you on this. If you decide to fool around with this tune again, don't think you need to go with the sax....go with harmonica, War doubled the sax with harmonica on the main riff...........the solo at the end is in your hands though!.....haha. Keep plugging away!

  • @pacoblancosmith Thanks! I'll keep that in mind; God knows I can't afford a sax anyways... As for the monkeys, I'm a sticks and stones kind of guy who knows you can only please half the monkeys half the time, right?

  • how long did it take you to figure out the cowbell part????? cuz its wrong!!!! the drums are wrong n you look retarded playin the drums. bad voice too!!!

  • @retanam1 No shit Sherlock; I'm not War.

  • What.....no sax at the end?! LOL Nice job!

  • @JoeGrunt5 Ohhhh I wish I had a sax, I would learn that too!!!! If I find one cheap though, look out! Thanks!

  • @freddythunder

    I use audacity too :D

  • @EmmanuelTromboner - I don't understand, I'm sorry. Thanks for liking it!! Everything you hear, I did with instruments. I run everything through a Boss RC-20 loop station and the little computer is Audacity (free recording program - awesome for free!!) and the big monitor behind it just has the words big enough for me to see without glasses. There's no other programs I used to create this - check out Wicked Game cover in my other videos - same thing there - different camera angle. Thanks!
