Maddin has a book out, called, From The Atelier Tovar..a collection of his writing...journals, film treatments, photos, etc. Wonderful and very revealing. Find and buy...and support this frequently broke artist.

I truly love Guy Maddin. I want to FEEL HIS BRAIN. I want to INHERIT HIS EYES. I want to BUY HIM A BEER. And I want to give Spanky, "his girlfriend's dog", who does an amazing job playing a dead chihuahua in "My Winnipeg", a peanut-butter slathered rawhide chew. Because I know what dogs like, and that's what we do for dogs here in the States. Besides, he can't drink out of the Great Lakes the way he drinks out of Lake Winnipeg, because that water is not clean. Go with God, Spanky!
