Exclusive: New Airport Scanners

The Transportation and Security Administration is set to unveil 450 full body scanners with more enhanced technology than past devices. CBS News' Bob Orr has an exclusive report from Reagan National Airport.

I would like the option of taking a chance of 0.005% that a terrorist is on the plane, and save some some stranger looking at my doodle. When they take box cutters no metal, liquid explosives no shampoo, shoe bomber take of your shoes, underwear bomber lets look through peoples underwear, hide explosives in the bum lets look in peoples small intestines. ..We need to quit giving up so much freedom its 2010 not 1984.

I have read a few scientific studies regarding backscatter X-rays. According to the studies, it can cause bubbling of the inner stand of the helix of DNA, and that according to the studies causes problems with genetic expression. I opt for the full pat down searches...

Unfortunately, its not just you on the plane or in and around its targeted location. I am certain that the TSA/Home Land Security officers are not pleased that they have to look at your "doodle". And you can choose to opt out of the scan, you just get a full body pat down instead.
