i really wish people would REALLY understand what black feminism was really about.

it was actually about preserving the black family unity and black unity in general. everyone sees the word "feminism" and assumes it means one thing. thats why its important to READ extensively on an issue before formulating a biased and sheeplike idea of feminism.

you can be for women upliftment and gender/ racial unity as well

I think men and women just need to talk with each more than nit-pick at each other and finding fault. God made us diffrent for a reason, so we need to get that through our thick skulls. women need to love and respect men and men to love and respect the women. if we did this our world will be a much happier place

i am a white girl from the states.women are physically weaker...took me a long time to accept!lol women are and always have been the more submissive gender it is in the human design. women have always struggled to feel equal, all men may never see us as equal only we can make ourselves feel that way. the way we deal with being treated unequally shows our real strength. in our silence and tolerence of them is our stength. me must change what we can and accept what we cannot.

Most blacks are not independent. As long as you are still working a job that the white man give you or you are buying product from the white man you are not independent you are dependent. However I know of Black Men right now who are building a world for our people that is independent from what white people give us. However whites do give to us so that we can do what we are doing.. because they no we will bless them for doing so being that there world that we know of is ending at this time.
