With "The Summer Knows" Marilyn conveys this love story beautifully but it's that ending, the emotion in Marilyn's voice and her vibrato control, always perfect in timing and duration, it still stirs the emotions and to be able to hear and "see" her even in this ending clip I Know why she is my favourite vocalist.

I Loved the CD Take Me With You. The stand out Track for me, "The Summer Knows" (From Summer Of 42). I also have the Sarah Vaughn version of this song, and to recreate the Michel Legrand's haunting orchestration to the Sarah Vaughn version with guitar and synth was nothing short of amazing. The switch to the solo trio and back was clever.
