Major bummer...my 08R6 was stolen from the parking lot at my apartment complex in April 2010 but luckily it was retrieved with about 4,000 in damages that insurance fixed...There is a way to keep it from being stolen...I keep mine INSIDE my apartment when im not on it no matter what...I suppose the next best thing to being "garaged" is lojack....atleast u would get it back that way lol.

@o0jun0o Unfortunately there is no possibility to get your bike safe. I talked with an official Yamaha dealer in Berlin and he told me about a man, who bought 6 bikes in one year! Every time stolen. Once he watched out of the window ... and gone forever. If the robbers really want to have the bike, they'll get it. GPS can be disturbed by other waves and so on. Maybe a steal chain, which is "melt into the ground" could help a little bit but... yeah.

@firestormR if u had a chance to avoid getting ur bike stolen, what would u have done? does alarm systems keep bikes safe? and shouldnt the bike lock itself after u take face it all the way to the left and taking the key out?

It was stolen out of the car park and the barrier to the entry was broken. Around the car park are many high buildings but that doesn't care the thieves :/

Now the license plate by Rizoma costs about 120 Euro ;-)

White rimes...hm... I can't change the color anyway because my R6 was stolen last month.

So if u pay 100 Euro u get a smaller plate? nice bike btw. Ip ersonally think what would make this be look SICK is solid white rimes. but thats just me.

I agree totally with you.

They force us to buy a license plate for about 100 Euro to make it look hot^^
