Is there anyone that can identify anyone else in this video? I believe my grandfather is one of the gusy with a shovel, but I am unsure. His name was Earl Gilbert, and he was the fire chief at this time...

WOW!! I grew up in Coaldale and remember the day this happened. I was in 3rd grade and sitting in my neighbors backyard pool (on High Street) when we heard the big rumble and didn;t know what it was.  I vaguely remember walking the streets and seeing those houses. WOW--

i was about in 3rd grade too! i lived on fisher avenue. i hung around a guy named george lashinko who lived on leighi street.
