Shake, Rattle & Roll Written by Jess Stone using the pseudonym Charles E. Calhoun. Flip, Flop & Fly Written by Charles Calhoun and Lou Willie Turner. I Got A Woman
Written by Ray Charles

Well get out in that kitchen
And rattle those pots and pans
Well get out in that kitchen
And rattle those pots and pans
Well and roll my breakfast
Cause Im a hungry man

I believe you're doing me wrong and now I know
I believe you're doing me wrong and now I know
'Cause the harder I work the faster my money goes

Well I said shake, rattle and roll
I said shake rattle and roll
I said shake, rattle and roll
I said shake rattle and roll
Well you won't do right
To save your doggone soul

Play It!

Im like a one-eyed cat peeping in a seafood store
Im like a one-eyed cat peeping in a seafood store
Well I can look at you tell you ain't no child no more

Well I said shake, rattle and roll
I said shake rattle and roll
I said shake, rattle and roll
I said shake rattle and roll
Well you won't do right
To save your doggone soul

Hit it again!

Im like a Mississippi bullfrog sitting on a hollow stump
Im like a Mississippi bullfrog sitting on a hollow stump
I got so many women, I dont know which way to jump

Well, Flip, flop & fly
I dont care if I die
I said, flip, flop & fly
I dont care if I die
Dont ever leave me
Dont ever say goodbye

Thank you very much, Ladies and Gentlemen. And now wed like to do a song called, I Got a Woman Way Over Town.

Well, I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, oh yeah
Say, I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, yeah

She gives me money, when Im in need
Yeah, she's the kind of friend I need

I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, oh yeah

She saves her loving early in the morning
Just for me
Oh, Oh, yeah
She saves her loving early in the morning
Just for me
Oh yes
Well shes my baby
Dont you understand?
I, I, I'm her loving man
I got a woman
Way cross-town
Shes good to me

Hit it
,
he's there to love me both day and night
Never grumbles or fusses,
Just treats me right
Never running in the streets
Leaving me alone
She knows a woman's place is right there right in that home

I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, oh yeah
Say, I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, yes

Well, she's my baby
Dont you understand?
I, I, I'm her loving man
I got a woman
Way cross-town
She's good to me oh, oh yeah

Dont you know shes all right
Shes all right, shes all right
I got a woman
Way over town
Shes good to me
Good to me

  • This is a very good video for me who is learning english (Im brazilian) because you put the subtitles.

I just love Elvis and there is a good way to learn another wonderful language.

Could anybody help me, I dont know the meaning of "doggone",

    "doing me wrong" expressions...

"And now wed like to do" does "wed" means we would like to..?

    tanks

  • Thank you

Doggone is a slang term used in anger or annoyance and can mean god damn

Doing me wrong means "dating" other people behind their back

and "wed" is we'd but they take out the punctuation when I upload the lyrics. So we'd is the contraction for we would
