Me running my Windows 7 laptop

  • The refresh rate/screen speed isn't really fast enough for full-on gaming, but things like solitaire or any game ghat isn't graphics-intense would be great.

  • Yes, computer needs to be on. I just turn my screen off and close the lid, to save the LCD. I think the company that made the app is developing a 'wake-from-the-Internet' command, so at least you could let your computer sleep.

  • It's just an app called LogMeIn Ignition ($29 from the App store) that lets you run your desktop/laptop computer from an iPad or iPhone.

  • So if you don't need real computing power, this is not bad

  • YOU SAVED MY LIFE!

Me parece genial.

  • You can also get team viewer for free

  • Remote desktop.

  • its just a remote desktop... laggy as shit

  • Not Nice

  • So slow.

  • You can also get free (& paid) RDP aps for iPhone/Pad. A good free one if your not confortable with RDP config is Team Viewer ap. All work best when connected to decent WiFi access point (always laggy with cellular network, regardless of which ap you use). Citrix ap is good if you connect to desktop in a corporate environment that is running Citrix.

Check for freebies first, there are some good ones available :)
