here's ABSTRACTION filmed live @ the Robin 2 in Bilston, West Midlands UK perfroming squeeze's 'take me i'm yours'. we prefer to perform original material but find you HAVE to include the odd cover. thought that it would be different to perform an electronic version. featuring tim fraser (vocals and kingscoop) - simon alcock (left - keyboards and programming) and neil griffin (right - keyboards and electronics). tim and simon also made up 2/3 of depeche mode tribute band - 'depeche made' between '98 and '06. this was filmed somewhere in between those times. have played support to erasure tribute - 'eraser', cure tribute - 'the cureheads' and gary numan tribute - 'numanesque'. please check out our other tracks on youtube and please comment. it would really mean SO much. also, please listen to us or download mp3's free @ 'mp3.com'. search under 'abstraction' or 'abstractionuk'. again please comment and spread the word. • Love the live sound, and the look of a singer with 2 guys behind keyboards. This arrangement sounds like a mix of I Feel Love by Donna Summer and Obsession by Animotion - not bad company to be in! Nice one.

  • You're very kind Matt. Your mixes are fantastic. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment, take care, Tim

  • look like three plebs

  • Well, you've met the others so as vocalist I should respond too. Having gigged for years now I've seen lots of acts on the same bill, many were lousy but I've always felt you should at least give some credit/respect for getting up and trying. It's SO easy to be waspish and just that little bit harder to stand up in front of people. I just think you could have been a bit more constructive or even just said nothing. I won't bite back. Good luck to you but choose the next video that you post well.

  • Bloody text limits!!!

If you want to know what I've been up to lately, search on my youtube pages pr myspace under "mateybloke1" for the ambient stuff I tend to lean to. Videos accompany them. If you wanna know what quality Video I can do, goto youtube, "Mateybloke" and look for Astradyne by Ultravox to see a live recording in Hi Def and 5.1 Surround.

    Keep in touch!

  • OH! MY! GAAAAAAAD! I didn't realise Abstraction was still going Timbo.

It's weird cause I drove past you the other day when you were standing outside the Forge and I said to the missus, "Bloody hell - It's Tim!" and then you bump in to her at Work. Glad you guys are still Gigging mate. Any how. You ain't changed . You still look at least 39.

Like this track on here. Does have that "I feel love" bass track which is addictive in itself. If you need a decent Video doing (FOC) let me know.

  • quite good. Well done, even though the quality of the video is not the best. I like the "moves" from the guy to the right in the middle of the song :D

  • Appledelic - thanks for your input. The three plebs on stage (I'm on keyboards) performed this during a set of otherwise original synth-pop songs. We found the tribute scene a little jaded (we did a well respected DM show for years) and full of people like yourself - full of it, and in no position to make snidey remarks. Come back when you're more than a third-rate Andy bell karaoke act, or just give it up. After all. you're not very good (but I like the leathers).

  • Appledelic....Entertainer?? You want to get over yourself mate! I'm one of those 'plebs'. Tell you what..contact me, we can hook up and you can tell all 6 foot 3, 17 stone of me just how to get into the real world, I can then show you a great trick with a chair. Mail me honey. x

  • Word is, Abstraction are talking about getting together to write new material. They've got new keyboards and everything!
